Cunami

We visited Cunami, a one-year-old sushi restaurant, and were immediately impressed by its stylish interior design. The ambiance was modern and inviting, setting the stage for a pleasant dining experience. However, we would like to note that the menu on Google was not updated, and we discovered that some prices had risen and certain dishes had been reduced in size. For appetizers, we had Cunami Tuna tartare and Pavle Nagano, both of which were well-seasoned and delicious. Moving on to the main course, we ordered stir-fried beef udon, pork and duck gyoza, and Tuna Maki sushi. The flavors were excellent, and the accompanying sauces were tasty. However, we found the portion sizes to be a bit small, especially the Tuna Maki, which could have been larger to make for a more satisfying meal. The gyoza could have been more generously filled, although the taste was excellent. The beef was well-cooked, and the thick noodles in the udon dish were just right. For dessert, we tried the mochi with various flavors, including coconut, passion fruit, mango, green tea, strawberry, and pistachio. It was a new experience for us, and we would describe it as an ice cream-like treat with a thin, smooth outer layer. The green tea flavor was our favorite. Cunami offers a wide selection of beers and wines to complement your meal. While the waitstaff was a bit clumsy, their genuine effort to provide excellent service left a positive impression on us. Despite the menu not being updated on Google, resulting in some price increases and smaller portion sizes, we would still highly recommend Cunami to anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine in the eastern part of Zagreb. Although there were some minor shortcomings, we believe it is the best Asian-style restaurant in that area. We suggest opting for indoor seating, as the interior design is more appealing compared to the terrace area.

Wonderful place for a romantic dinner. Interior is stunning, make sure to make a reservation beforehand! The wok was nice and pleasant but nothing out of this world however the spicy tiger rolls where OUT OF THIS WORLD! Amazing explosion of flavor. The staff was so helpful and friendly and I especially liked that they had the soy with less salt as well as the normal one.
